This Fiat 124 Spider was built in April 1980 and was recently imported from New York, USA. It is offered as a restoration project and is an interesting opportunity for enthusiasts looking for an affordable and complete classic Italian sports car.
The car is equipped with an automatic transmission and is largely complete. The interior presents well for its age and remains one of the stronger aspects of the car. The body requires restoration work, with rust visible in the floor sections and wheel arch areas, while the paintwork is in poor condition throughout.
The exact mechanical condition of the car is unknown. We attempted to start the vehicle and confirmed that the starter motor turns the engine over. However, there is currently no ignition and the engine does not run. The car should therefore be considered a non-running project requiring mechanical recommissioning.
Despite its obvious needs, the Fiat retains the attractive Pininfarina-designed lines that made the 124 Spider one of the most successful Italian sports cars of its era. Parts availability for these models remains good and there is strong enthusiast support worldwide.
The car is sold exactly as it stands and offers a straightforward basis for restoration, whether as a driver-quality project or a more comprehensive rebuild.
Price: € 2.900
